Virginia Community College Transfers
Students who have completed an Associate’s degree of Science in Science from a Virginia Community College are able to earn the Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in two years as a full-time student. This is contingent upon the student completing the required prerequisites for a Chemistry degree, depending on the concentration selected, before beginning their studies at Radford University. The Department of Chemistry concentrations are Advanced Professional Chemist; Professional Chemistry; Advanced Biochemistry; Biochemistry: PreHealth and Life Sciences; and Forensics. The two Advanced degrees are American Chemical Society approved degrees. To apply as a transfer student, the online application must be submitted.
