Professor presents research in Germany
Dr. Joel Hagen was invited to present his research at a conference in Hannover, Germany - "The Art and Science of Systematics" - sponsored by the Volkswagen Foundation in June 2015. The international conference was held at Schloss Herrenhausen, the reconstructed royal palace and VW conference center. The three-day interdisciplinary conference included presentations by biologists, historians, philosophers, sociologists, and artists. Hagen provided a commentary on three presentations and also discussed his research on the historical development of systematics during the late twentieth century.
