2022 Graduation Celebration

Dr. Bradley presents Mikayla Cashwell as the Department of Sociology's 2022 Dean's Scholar Wednesday, April 27 in Heth Hall as the Sociology Department returned to an in-person gathering for its annual awards ceremony after two years of virtual gatherings.

Dr. Wisecup welcomes Jenna Mitchell into the International Honor Society of Sociology, Alpha Kappa Delta. Mitchell, who is completing her junior year, also won the award for Outstanding Service to the Department.

Gabrielle Spennacchio-Parker, with Dr. Hunter, was also among the seminar students receiving the Outstanding Research in Service to the Community award.

Maia Grove, with Dr. Bodenhamer, was awarded Most Promising Major.

Bailey Graham received the award for Outstanding Academic Performance in the Sociology Major.

Dr. Bradley calls up Beth Carter to receive her award for Outstanding Academic Performance in the Sociology Minor.

Dr. Lyman presents Russel Alvarez with the award for Outstanding Service to the Center for Social and Cultural Research (CSCR).

Cali Jacobs accepts the award for Outstanding Service in an Internship from Dr. Lyman. Jacobs also won the Dr. Carole Seyfrit Award for Excellence in Research.

Reed Yearwood accepts the award for Outstanding Student Leadership from Dr. Wisecup.
