The Department of Sociology held its annual banquet and awards ceremony Wednesday, April 24 in Heth Hall. The year-end gathering celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of the past year, and marks the near-end of another academic year and the departure of graduating seniors. Amanda Burroughs received the Extraordinary Academic Achievement Award, and she won the Dr. Carole Seyfrit Award for Excellence in Research.
