Outstanding Graduate Research Award-Mercedes Loescher
“I am beyond grateful to have been selected for the Outstanding Graduate Research Award. This accomplishment is not something I did alone, and there are many people I owe thanks to for getting me to where I am today. The research I conducted and the people I worked with taught me so much. I hope to continue to use these skills as I further my education. I want to say thank you to Dr. Brummette for convincing me to join this project when I first got into the graduate program and sticking by me for the past two years, mentoring me and continuously uplifting me even when things got hard. Again, thank you for this award and recognizing the amount of hard work I have put into my research here.” –Mercedes Loescher, Outstanding Graduate Research Award Recipient.
