Congratulations to Professor Betty Kennan
Professor Betty Kennan, MA, was promoted from Instructor to Senior Instructor in the School of Communication, effective at the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year. This title is a significant achievement and is only given to those who have consistently demonstrated exemplary teaching to the students at Radford University.
Professor Kennan received her Bachelors of Science in Education and Masters of Arts in Communication from West Texas A & M University. She has taught basic communication courses in Texas and Virginia and joined the School of Communication at Radford University in 2005. In addition to supervising students in the School of Communication in their internships, she teaches Listening/Nonverbal, Interpersonal Communication, and Teamwork. Ms. Kennan serves as mentor to students presenting research at local, regional, and national conferences.
