Alumnus Stephan Cassaday '76 named as top advisor in Virginia by Barron's

Radford University alumnus Stephan Cassaday ’76, President & CEO of Cassaday & Company, Inc., has been recognized by Barron’s as the #1 Advisor in Virginia in 2014, 2016 and 2017 on their annual list of America’s ‘Top 1,200 Advisors: State-by-State’. Barron’s also cited him as one of the ‘Top 100 Independent Advisors’ and ‘Top 100 Financial Advisors’ in the nation. Barron’s evaluates thousands of financial advisors across the country to determine these rankings, and Cassaday has been included on the list each year.

In addition to Barron’s honors, Cassaday & Company, Inc. has been recognized for employee development, community service, as a best place to work, as one of the fastest growing companies in the country, and as one of the top wealth advisors in the United States. Recent recognition includes:

Cassaday has been a dedicated alumni volunteer as a former member of the RU Board of Visitors and member of the College of Business and Economics Advisory Council. Throughout the years, he has spoken to business classes and given students advice about being successful in the “real world.”

Cassaday said he and his fellow alumni are proof that a Radford University degree can give students a great start on their professional path. “You are going to be as successful as you want to be, and we [alumni] are living proof of how successful you can be,” says Cassaday.
