GEOSPATIAL SCIENCE

As a geospatial science student at Radford University, you’ll use geography and information technology to understand the people, places and processes of the earth.

In Virginia’s only undergraduate geospatial science program, you’ll learn how to consider the spatial component of complex problems to gain a more complete understanding of our world and empower smarter, data-driven decisions across disciplines.

Our students are researching sea-level rise, identifying food deserts, evaluating green infrastructure, assessing sustainable energy potential, exploring the impacts of urban sprawl and analyzing emergency evacuation routes. 

We’ll give you the tools to collect and analyze data. Then we’ll help you build a future.
