Applicants

Now that you have submitted your application, you may be looking for what to do next. It is important to periodically check your application status to ensure we have everything we need to review your application.

Please note: decisions for fall applicants will be released starting mid-November and on a rolling basis after.

How to Check Your Application Status

Once you've submitted your application, you will receive an email within 1-2 days with instructions on how to set up your Highlander Portal. Your Highlander Portal is where you can view your application status as well as upload transcripts or other material. Check out the video below for a quick run through of how to set up your Highlander Portal:

Have additional questions about your application? Our Admissions Counselors are available for one-on-one virtual appointments. Use the buttons below to find your counselor and set up an appointment.

Important Information for 2024-2025 FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is how we determine need-based financial assistance, including grants, loans, and work study eligibility. Go to studentaid.gov to start your FAFSA and be sure to submit your FAFSA by Radford University's March 1 priority deadline.

Fall 2024 applicants: Due to significant Department of Education processing delays, we will not have information about FAFSA submissions until at least mid-March. Once FAFSA data is released to us, we are committed to sharing financial aid information as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

If you have questions about completing the FAFSA, we invite you to register for a virtual one-on-one appointment with a member of our financial aid team.
