As part of the Provost's office the Office of Budget and Academic Operations supports and promotes Radford University academia.  Our office works with faculty, staff and students through partnerships, and internal, as well as institutional agencies to facilitate and support University goals and initiatives. 

Working with the University community we promote Radford's Shared Governance system which affirms our community’s historical commitment to fostering a transparent, open, and productive goveranace process. 

We serve as liaison to the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia by administering Academic Affairs policies, procedures and guidelines governing public institutions.

We administer information regarding Intercessions and provide communication and resources to Radford University students regarding summer and wintermester sessions.

We promote regional learning centers through Radford University partnerships with Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center and Roanoke Higher Education Center.  

We recognize faculty and staff by administering annual nominations and processes for Radford University Foundation Awards, and the Virginia Commonwealth Outstanding Faculty Awards.
