Clan Kincaid

The Kincaid family was founded by Sir William Kincaid. He was a descendent of the Earl of Huntington, who was the third son of David, the first King of Scotland. Sir William was the first cousin of Robert the Bruce.

The Kincaid family has been for 750 years among the nobility of Scotland and Ireland; they are of Scottish-Irish descent and are of Presbyterian belief.

Clan Kincaid is a family of 328 members. Madam Arabella Kincaid of Kincaid is the current chief and lives in England. Supervising the North American and Canada operation is James E. Kincaid of Lynchburg, Virginia, serving as Commissioner to the Chief.
