ITEC 100 at Radford University consists of material in two primary areas:
- Computer Concepts
- Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
(Access was included for 2008-2009 and earlier years)
based on this course

Starting in Fall 2009, ITEC 100 is offered as three hours lecture.
For 2008-2009 and earlier years, ITEC 100 was usually offered as two hours
lecture and two hours lab. For the 2008-2009 and earlier catalog years,
ITEC 100 is one of three RU ITEC general education offerings which
include
ITEC 109 and
ITEC 120.

Starting with the 2009-2010 catalog year, RU's ITEC core curriculum offering is
ITEC 112.

A challenge exam is offered for ITEC 100. Details on RU policy on challenge examinations are
in the Academic Policies section of the
Undergraduate Catalog.
A student interested in taking the ITEC 100 challenge exam should complete this form
and contact the ITEC 100 course coordinator at least one week
prior to a week designated for the challenge exam. The challenge exam is
offered during these weeks:
- 15-Mar-2010 (week after spring break)
- 19-Jan-2010 (add/drop week)
- 19-Oct-2009 (8th semester week)
- 31-Aug-2009 (add/drop week)
