High pressure clears the skies for our area
The previous days' factors of moisture coming north
from the Gulf of Mexico and the jet stream stretching down to the south have
dissipated, leaving skies in the southeast clear and ry.
In this image, the effects of this high pressure system over the southeast are
most clearly seen along the coast.
Along the coasts, the air is being shoved out to sea. You can see the air
picking up moisture as it moves away from the land, over the ocean.
