Winter is fast approaching for the northern climes:
The eastern part of Canada has a light snow cover in this image.
You can also see the beginnings of the ice that will eventually cover Hudson
Bay.
For the time being, the St. Lawrence River is free of ice, but that will change
in the coming months.
