Sunrise over the "Four Corners" area and the Grand Canyon.
In the image below, Lake Powell in Utah is seen feeding into the Grand Canyon in
the northwestern corner of Arizona.
From the angle of the shadows of the clouds at this time of the day, you can see
that the sun is rising north of east, which shows this image was taken in the
summer (even if you didn't know that already).
The Rocky Mountains are clearly seen in this image, especially their dramatic
rise from the flat plains of eastern Colorado.
The large white area in southern Colorado shows the Great Sand Dunes National
Park.
