HOCKEY INFORMATION:

Radford University offers it's students a wide range of athletics and clubs. Radford University Ice Hockey is a sports club that is a member of the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference of the Atlantic Coast Collegiate (ACC) Hockey League.  Also RUIH is a Division III member of the Atlantic Coast Hockey Association (ACHA).  The BRHC hockey league consists of such teams as , Clemson, Appalachian State, Old Dominion, University of Richmond, VCU and NC State. The league follows NCAA hockey rules and polices. 

In addition we play non-conference games against schools throughout Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and the District of Columbia. UNIVERSITY INFORMATION:

Radford University is located in the city of Radford, Virginia, (population 16,500), 36 miles southwest of Roanoke on Lee Highway and I-81 in the New River Valley, close to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We are approximately four hours from Richmond by car and five hours from both Washington, D.C., and the Tidewater, Va., region.

Radford University is a coeducational, comprehensive institution with undergraduate and graduate programs. In the last 20 years, enrollment has increased dramatically. During the fall of 2000, the enrollment was 8,890 in on- and off-campus programs. Radford's students come from all over the Commonwealth: 40 percent from Southwest, 18 percent from Northern Virginia, 14 percent from Tidewater and Southside and 16 percent from Richmond and Central Virginia.
