Dr. Roofia Galeshi, Ph.D, EIT is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics Education and School of Teacher
Education and Leadership at Radford University. She is a member of Research Experience for Undergraduates in Cognitive
Communication at Virginia Tech. She is a Psychometrician and Quantitative researcher. She has a M.S. in Education and a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering.
Dr. Galeshi's research interests are Mathematics education, STEM education, Engineering education, diagnostic classification
models (CDM), a new technique in measuring human latent traits by investigating individual’s observable behaviors.
She also has research interest in Item Response Theory (IRT), an aptitude measurement methodology commonly used in GRE and
PRAXIS testing.
