President Hemphill hosts forums for faculty and students
President Brian O. Hemphill continued his series of open forums with the campus community as faculty, staff and students settled in to the 2018-19 academic year.
 

Schoolhouse is open
One of the newest additions to Residential Life is the Schoolhouse Learning Community, a living space on the third floor of Moffett Hall that connects and inspires prospective teachers from all disciplines and grade levels.
 

Prep work begins early for student teachers
Being a student teacher requires long hours and dedication. It means making detailed lesson plans, working closely with host schools and meeting students and their parents. It also means cutting short summer break and returning to the Radford campus three weeks before fall semester classes begin.

To find sustainability-related locations on the Radford University campus, click on the interactive map for a self-guided tour. The map displays locations for recycling, campus car share and Radford Transit stops. It also highlights buildings that have earned LEED certifications.

Elizabeth "Blair" Hoke '10 has been hired as economic development director for the City of Radford. Hoke previously served as the general manager of minor league baseball's Pulaski Yankees.
