Recyclemania 2015 is officially underway
Each spring, RU participates in the annual RecycleMania competition, which officially began Feb. 1 and runs through March 28. During that period, the campus community is encouraged to pitch mixed paper, mixed containers and cardboard in recycling bins located across campus. Their goal is 100,000 pounds of recyclable materials. Weekly results can be viewed online.

Kimberly Dawn Grosenbacher '89 was recently named 2015 Teacher of the Year at Boerne, Texas, Champion High School, where she teaches government. Previously she was awarded 2014 Texas Lawyers Auxiliary Teacher of the Year award, the VFW District 13 National Citizenship Education Teacher award and the Bill of Rights Institute Summer Fellowship.
