Our Turn celebrates 20 years student athlete dinner Farron Smith
Radford University formally began its new academic year Thursday with the 2013 Fall Convocation in Preston Hall's Bondurant Auditorium. RU student-athletes, coaches and administrators celebrated the beginning of the 2013-14 athletics season with the Welcome Back Dinner. Families of RU alumni and their children who are starting out as freshmen gathered for lunch in the Hurlburt Student Center.

Garland SmithMen's soccer knocks off Hokies 2-1 in final preseason match

RU freshman Garland Smith scored a goal and assisted on another to help lead the Highlanders to a 2-1 victory over their New River rivals, Virginia Tech, at Cupp Stadium on Saturday night. Read more.
