Clean with the Dean
The Office of the Dean of Students and the SGA are teaming up to tidy up the town at the annual Clean with the Dean event on April 19 and 20. The event is a staple for the RU community that gives students and faculty a chance to give back and do their part in making Radford shine. All members of the Radford community are invited to Clean with the Dean, which will begin at 9 a.m. at the Heth clocks. Dean of Students Irvin Clark will join students as they tackle trash and pick up litter. |

The RU Staff Senate is now taking nominations for its annual Keep'n It Green Award, which honors and recognizes an RU employee who exemplifies sustainability initiatives at the university. Read more
Recycling event scheduled for Saturday
RU Recycling is encouraging the campus community to participate in the Household Hazardous, E-Waste and Document Shredding event sponsored by the New River Resource Authority. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, behind Radford High School on Scott Street. Visit the RU Recycling website to learn more.

Close to 200 graduating seniors have gotten their student philanthropy cord for graduation day! Have you?
Show your Highlander spirit through the Highlander 10 senior gift challenge. All graduating seniors who make a gift of $10 or more will receive the red and white student philanthropy cord and be recognized during May's commencement ceremony. Your gift can be designated for the college, department or program of your choice. From now until graduation, you can get your cord in Martin Hall, room 226.
