What if I'm not a business major?

You don't have to be!  We accept all majors and areas of concentrations.

How can I become an local chapter officer?

If there are open positions, then you can apply for a position by contacting pbl@radford.edu stating your name and what position you are interested in.  An application and more information will be sent to you regarding the specified position of interest and elections may be held at an upcoming meeting.

How often do you meet?

Our organization meets depending on the schedules of our members.  It can vary from each semester, but we are very flexible so that we can better include and encourage all of our members for participation.

Where can I get FBLA-PBL gear?

The FBLA-PBL MarketPlace always has great merchandise to help you show off your FBLA-PBL support! Visit the MarketPlace at any conference or shop online!

Do you have to compete in an event in order to go to the conferences?

Of course not!  Competing in an event is simply a great way to apply and test your knowledge and skills.  You don't have to compete to go to the state or national conferences if you would still like to attend the leadership workshops and hear the keynote speakers.

What kind of competitive events can I participate in?

There are a number of topics you can choose from to test your superior business knowledge and skills! Simply choose one of your interest, compete, and hope to win! Winners at the state level can qualify for nationals. Download the .pdf list of events and descriptions here. Competitive events fall into three categories: individual, team, and chapter. Individual and team events focus on skills useful in leadership and career development; chapter events recognize overall achievement and performance in chapter management and growth.
