lab01b
practice typing and running

From the textbook:

  1. P1.7
  2. P1.8
  3. (Challenge problem, if you have time:) Proj1.1
Type in the code yourself -- don't copy/paste, just for today. This will help you start learning the patterns involved in Java syntax. (The lab instructor will project the problems on the screen, if you don't have a WileyPlus password.)

If you forget the steps in writing/running a program, refer back to lab01a—Compiling; syntax errors; BlueJ's Code Pad. In this class, you will frequently refer back to previous examples, as you learn to internalize the (annoying yet critical) details of Java syntax.
