Due Jan.2928 (Wed) in class1.
(N.B. In the future homeworks will be due on Mondays.)
See the main homework page for hw guidelines (your name and assignment# on each paper, etc.).
Note:
In the book's numbering system,
a leading
‘R’ means review exercises;
a leading
‘P’ means programming exercises.
For programming exercises,
you are expected to actually turn in a copy of your program2.
Note: Since we have not yet talked about constructing objects, you only need to answer the second half: declaring a variable of type Rectangle. (However, if you have sneaked a peak at §2.6, feel free to answer the first part as well, for an extra 2pts!)
1 I will accept it on Thursday as well, since the day-of-week didn't originally agree with the date. I encourage you to turn it in Wednesday, though. ↩
2Although R1.12 asks you to write a program to check your answer, you don't actually need to turn in that program. ↩
