Security Tip
It is important to learn about file-sharing risks. Sharing files with a stranger can infect your computer with viruses, worms and Trojan horses. To disable file-sharing, check your operating system and other program help files.

IT Tip
Empty the recycle bin. When you click "delete" on a file or a program, it doesn't go away for good. Instead, it sits in a kind of purgatory in your computer's recycle bin. Go ahead and empty the recycle bin. From then on, get into the habit of doing so about once a week.

IT Sustainability Tip
The best energy saver is to make sure your computer and peripherals like printers and scanners are turned off at the end of every day.
