Tuition & Fees
Students may only take one class during Wintermester. The cost to participate in the Wintermester program is estimated to be $1,329 for a 3 credit hour course for an in-state undergraduate student and $2,775 for an out-of-state undergraduate student. This cost covers the tuition and fees. A detailed breakdown of how these costs are determined can be found on the Office of the Bursar website.
For students who registered for a class during regular registration periods, the payment deadline is December 6, 2017. For anyone registering after December 6 payment is due at the time of registration.
This is a reminder that no additional federal or state financial aid is available to assist you with payment if you enroll in a Wintermester class. You will need to set aside money from your Fall 2017 disbursement or find another source of funding for the class. Payment for the class is due Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
In some cases, students who have a good credit rating or who can obtain a credit-worthy co-signer can apply for a Private Loan for this term. Applications can be made no earlier than 90 days prior to the payment due date. For information regarding Private Education Loans, you can visit the RU Financial Aid website. Due to the financial commitment required to participate in Wintermester, it is critical that this decision is made in coordination with your family.
If you are a Financial Aid recipient and need additional information to make your decision, please contact the Financial Aid office online or at 540-831-5408.
