Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available during Maymester, Summer I, Summer II and Summer III on a limited basis. Students interested in Summer Financial Aid should complete a separate Summer Financial Aid Application.

Due to the ongoing public health concerns regarding the continued COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the Governor’s temporary stay at home order and social distancing guidelines, Radford University will transition all Summer Session course offerings to a fully online delivery. Courses currently listed as on campus will be updated to online. All registration related questions should be directed to the Registrar’s Office on the main campus by e-mailing or calling 540-831-5271 and at Radford University Carilion (RUC) by e-mailing or calling 540-985-8108.

The application is available beginning the first day of spring classes online through the student's My RU account under the Financial Aid tab. Federal Direct Loan funds are available for the summer only if a student has not already borrowed their annual loan limit. Limited student employment positions are available on campus and will be posted on the Radford University Financial Aid website as they become available.

There are some Private Education Lenders that will allow Radford University regular admission students to borrow tuition and fee amounts. Information about these lenders can also be found on the Financial Aid website.

Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you have questions at or 540-831-5408.
