Bryheem Hancock’s Soccer Academy

Summer ID Camp – June 16 or July 21
Ages 15-18 | Radford, VA

The one day summer ID camp will be held on June 16, 2018 and is administered by the Radford men’s soccer coaching staff. This day camp is geared toward developing the “total” soccer athlete who’s committed to performing at the most demanding levels.

Summer Day Camp Week – July 23-26
Ages 5-15 | Radford, VA

At our day camp soccer camps, kids play soccer in the morning, where we focus on building their skills and gaining confidence. In the afternoon, they’ll enjoy more soccer and other activities. Each day concludes with a full soccer match.

Marci Jenkins Volleyball Camps

Elite Skills Overnight Camp – July 14-17
Ages 14 and up | Radford, VA

This camp will focus on fundamental skills and techniques throughout nine sessions.

The camp will aim to build on each athlete’s potential as a volleyball player, as well as prepare each camper for their upcoming high school or collegiate seasons.

Mike Jones Basketball Camps

Day Camp – June 18-21
Ages 5-17 | Radford, VA

The main objective of the camp is to stress the fundamentals of basketball – dribbling, shooting, passing, conditioning, agility, rebounding, defense, and fast break, while stressing the importance of hard work and becoming a well-rounded individual.

Team Camp – June 22-23
All ages | Radford, VA

All games will be played on Radford University campus unless we experience a large amount of teams. Every game will be officiated by certified high school referees.

Mike McGuire Basketball Camp

Kids Camp – June 11-14
Ages 6-13 | Radford, VA

This camp is designed for girls and boys in rising 1st through 8th graders interested in learning more about the fundamentals of basketball. Campers will be taught fundamental and teamwork skills through a variety of drills and activities scheduled each day.

One Day Team Shootout – June 16
Ages 13-18 | Radford, VA

This camp will provide an opportunity for your team to improve during the summer in a highly competitive, organized setting.

Elite Camp – August 4
Ages 13-18 | Radford, VA

This camp is designed to provide a detailed experience about what it takes to compete and be successful at the Division I level.

Joe Raccuia Baseball Camps

Summer Youth Development Camp – June 11-14 or June 25-28
Ages 5-14 | Radford, VA

Players will have the opportunity to learn from Division I coaches and players. Each camper will execute the same fundamentals and principles that current Highlander baseball players are taught.

Prospect Camp – June 7, June 21, June 28, July 18, July 26
Ages 14 & up | Radford, VA

This camp is a great opportunity for all prospects to showcase their talent and ability to college coaches as well as receive instruction to help them improve as a player.

RUBY International Summer Intensive Program

June 18-28
Ages 12 & up | Radford, VA

This classically based program is ideal for serious and dedicated ballet students age 12 and older who have had a minimum of two years of ballet training. Internationally recognized Vaganova certified teachers will be teaching Ballet and Pointe classes. Exciting Modern, Jazz and Conditioning classes will supplement the intensive ballet program. The two-week concentrated course work will help students to realize their higher potential, to learn, to improve, and to have fun! Housing is available for international and out of state students on Radford University’s beautiful campus.

Residential Governor’s School for the Visual & Performing Arts and Humanities

June 24 – July 21
Radford, VA

The Residential Governor’s School for the Visual & Performing Arts and Humanities is a VA-DOE sponsored gifted grant program implemented and hosted by Radford University. Through a highly competitive application and audition process, 400 gifted high school students are selected to live on the RU campus for four weeks. During their time with us, the students participate in intensive Humanities, Music, Visual Art, Dance, and Theater learning programs with approximately 60 faculty and recreational activities with 27 resident life counselors.

Multi-sport Camp, hosted at the Radford University Student Recreation Wellness Center (SRWC)

June 11-15
Ages 8-13 | Radford, VA

The Multi-Sport Camp will be led by Radford University intramural counselors and will feature sports, games, activities and campus experiences, like visits to the Planetarium, the Student Outdoor Recreation Complex or the Hurlburt Center Game Room.

The SRWC Multi-Sport Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 11-14 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 15.  Camp Fee is $125 per child.  Registration deadline is May 29.

Radford University, College of Science and Technology - Camp Invention - Fast Forward

June 18-22
For children entering K through 6 | Radford, VA

Camp Invention costs $225 per child. Your child will become a Robotic Pet Vet™ using tools, circuitry, biology and physiology to take apart and diagnose puppy problems. Campers then celebrate the homecoming of their customized robotic pet as they demonstrate design engineering concepts in the construction of a new dog park attraction!

In Mod My Mini Mansion™ your child will dream up and design their very own futuristic smart home filled with gadgets, LEDs and technology – from exploring renewable sources to binary coding, this take-home mini mansion will make architecture concepts unforgettable!

Campers will launch into the future with their very own Optibot™ – a small self-driving bot that senses change in light, as children go on an exploration adventure fueled by aerial, aquatic and land transportation technology!

Daily challenges will inspire your young innovator to Stick To It™ using collaboration, discovery and invention prototyping to solve real world issues. Whether it’s through the lens of a physicist, engineer or entrepreneur, campers explore chemistry with magnetic slime, trajectory in a catapult challenge, and the exciting testing of mechanical gears and their robotic arm creations!
