Veteran and Active Military Resources

Radford University Carilion is dedicated to honoring the service of both our veteran students and those students who currently serve in our armed forces, as well as their families.

As a veteran or military personnel, it’s important to know that RUC doesn’t just “talk the talk” when it comes to our military students:

• RUC was awarded a $1-million federal grant in 2015 for Veteran-friendly initiatives.
• RUC has developed a dedicated program geared specifically towards veterans. The Veteran’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, where students receive individualized admissions, academic support and post-graduate career assistance.
• RUC was named a 2018 Military Friendly® School for the sixth consecutive year by Victory Media.
• Designated resources and college staff to assist veterans and military achieving their education and career goals.
