Spring 2021 Exit Testing Information for Main Campus Students, Faculty, and Staff

Highlanders, together, we can stay healthy!

As we prepare to conclude the Spring 2021 semester, Radford University recognizes that many students, faculty, and staff will be departing campus. As such, we will offer COVID-19 exit testing, which will be available by appointment and at no charge for students, faculty, and staff, both on the main campus and at Radford University Carilion (RUC), during the week of finals.

Exit testing for students, faculty, and staff will be available on the main campus in Young Hall on Monday, April 26, 2021 and Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Individuals interested and available to participate in exit testing need to make an appointment through an online registration system. Individual testing appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis and, pending availability, accepted until one hour prior to the actual testing time. The tests, once performed, will be processed on-site. Individuals will be asked to wait for their test results, which will be available in 15 to 20 minutes.

Once an appointment is made, a confirmation will be sent to the provided e-mail address. Confirmed appointments can be canceled and/or modified. Individuals are strongly encouraged to arrive five minutes prior to the confirmed testing time, which will be within the selected 15-minute timeframe. Once arriving at Young Hall for testing, signage will indicate the dedicated entrance and exit locations to ensure physical distancing.

Please know that we take the health, safety, and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff very seriously. The offering of exit testing represents one of the many ways in which the University has worked diligently to provide both reassurance and support. If you have specific questions about exit testing or general questions about COVID-19, please e-mail COVID19@radford.edu.
