Radford Advising Conference to take place April 16

The Radford Advising Conference will take place on April 16 from 9 – 11:50 a.m. on the lower level of Heth Hall.

The conference offers training and development that enhances academic advising at the university.

“Conference attendees can expect to hear high-quality presentations that have been recognized both regionally and nationally,” said Rachel Hall, senior assistant director of the pre-major Advising Center. “In their presentations, the professional advising staff, along with collaborators from the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, Institutional Research, the Registrar’s Office, and Core Curriculum, will discuss relevant and insightful information on student success issues, curriculum, institutional data, research, and academic policies and procedures.”

Registration for the event is open and is free and open to all faculty and staff. Registering for the event does not commit participants to staying for the entire conference. Contact Rachel Hall at 540-831-5220 or rbowman10@radford.edu for more information. A luncheon will follow the conference in Heth 043.
