RU hosts first 3 Minute Thesis competition

Radford University’s first 3 Minute Thesis competition will take place Nov. 12, in Heth 022 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Thirteen RU graduate students will be tasked to present their research programs to a general audience in three minutes or less. Guest judges include Radford University’s Rector Michael Wray, Delegate Joseph Yost and Radford Vice Mayor Richard Harshberger.

Prizes will be given for the strongest presentations. The Judge’s Choice winner will receive $1,000 plus travel expenses to compete in the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools competition in New Orleans, Louisiana. The People’s Choice winner will receive $500.
