Job fair to match students with opportunities

A summer job can provide a solid toehold for beginning a career. An internship can be a steppingstone for students interested in joining the workforce before earning their degrees.

To facilitate both possibilities, Radford University will bring nearly 50 employers to campus on Friday, March 1, for the Spring Job and Internship Fair, set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Peters Hall gymnasium.

"Whether students are looking for internships or full-time jobs, they shouldn't miss this great opportunity to meet face to face with employers," said Carolyn Sutphin of the RU Office of Career Services, sponsor of the event.

All students are invited to attend. Professional attire is required, and current resumes are recommended.

A list of employers expected to attend is posted on the Career Services website. To learn more, email Sutphin at csutphin@radford.edu or call (540) 831-6528.
