    By Kenneth Lonergan. “This is Our Youth” is the work of playwright and Oscar winner Kenneth Lonergan (“Manchester by the Sea”). Its young characters, a disaffected group of friends in the 1980s, could be from any generation as they resist their parents’ world while growing out of their own. The New York Times called this acclaimed play an “acerbic portrait of the real real world.” Hawes Studio Theatre Series is free; however tickets for the productions are available online at or at the Porterfield Box Office during the week of the show. This play is intended for mature audiences.
