    Strange Weather explores site specificity, changing climatic patterns, and symbolic narratives of home. Utilizing local newspapers as well as newspapers that she creates herself, ephemera, chance, history, and time come into conversation in the large-scale sculptural works. This exhibition will include photographs of previous work installed across the globe, three dimensional sculptures, as well as participation from the art, dance, and music departments at Radford University for a collaborative interdisciplinary event.  Exhibition: Sept. 28 - Dec. 3, 2017

    By Beth Henley. “Crimes of the Heart” is playwright Beth Henley’s homage to her roots. The three Magrath Sisters, trapped in their small Mississippi town, wrestle with the lies and hurts of the past as they face some super-sized troubles together. Henley’s unique blend of Southern Gothic and screwball comedy is at its finest in this 1981 Pulitzer Prize winner. General Admission: $10; RU Faculty/Staff, Senior Discount (55+), and Group Rates (10+): $6; RU Student w/ID: Free.   10. Majors and Minors Fair »

    1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. @ Heth Hall, Lower Level

    At the Fall Majors and Minors Fair, students will be able to explore majors, minors, student activities, academic programs, student resources and leadership opportunities. The intent of this event is to provide a centralized location for students to meet with faculty and professional advisors to discuss major curricula and career opportunities connected to each major. Over 70 academic programs will be represented at the fair. Each participating program will have a table staffed by a faculty representative or professional staff member who will be able to answer questions about their respective departments.
