Hiring a new employee is a process crucial to the success of Radford University, and your role in that process is essential to our ability to recruit and hire top talent. This process stretches beyond the interview, beginning at the planning and review stage and ending months after a new employee's first day through a positive and extensive on-boarding and orientation process. 

Before beginning the recruitment and hiring process, familiarize yourself with the policies that govern our formal process. The Manager's Toolkit will assist in walking you through our hiring process, whether in the role of the Hiring Manager, Search Chair, or Search Committee Member. The Hiring Manager Resources page will walk our Hiring Managers through the steps to take immediately following a resignation letter, all the way through the on-boarding and orientation process. The Search Chair Resources page will explore the role of the Search Chair as a liaison between the university and top candidates during the hiring process. This page also includes important hiring documents, as well as step-by-step guides for managing applicants and applicant information in the PeopleAdmin system. 

The Search Committee Resources page will examine the various steps taken by the committee throughout the interview, evaluation, and recruitment process. This page also includes hiring documents utilized through the search process.
