The cast for "Mauritius"

Jackie............ Tori Long
Phillip............ Jacob McNulty
Dennis........... Ben Taylor
Sterling......... Jeremiah Smith
Mary..............  Rebecca Redifer

In a letter announcing the decision Wommack stated, “Thank you to everyone who came out and auditioned. Your pieces and emotions moved me deeply and I am proud that I get to say that I saw every one of you perform. Thank you all for your time and for this experience. To those cast, I am beyond excited to begin this process with you, and I cannot wait for all of the experiences that it will provide.”

Playwright Theresa Rebeck’s story is an edge-of-your-seat drama with dark and unexpected turns. When two at odds half-sisters with nothing in common inherit a potentially valuable stamp collection from their late mother, their attempts to have it appraised entangle them with a high-stakes stamp dealer and ruthless con artists, resulting in a dizzying array of double-crosses.

“Mauritius” will open on October 3, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hawes Studio Theatre in Porterfield Hall on the campus of Radford University. The production will run from October 3 – 6 at 7:30 p.m. each evening, and again on October 7 at 2:00 p.m. Admission is free but tickets are required. Tickets can be reserved online or picked up at the Porterfield Box Office (540-831-5289) during the week of the show. The box office is open from noon to 6 p.m. and one hour before the start of each performance.
