ADP Database Analyst

SUMMARY:

The Information Technology Database Analyst will ensure the integrity, security, backup and recovery of company databases and ensure business data requirements are met. Must be self-driven, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess a hybrid, technical skill set in database administration, database analysis and reporting. They must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills in order to communicate daily with IT personnel for database needs as well as personnel outside of IT for data requests and report needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
  • Provide database administration including management, performance, troubleshooting, integrity and security.
  • Responsible for the design and accessibility of all company databases. 
  • Provide data analysis and analytics as requested.
  • Responsible for developing automated and reusable routines for extracting information from database systems.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports with key metrics and indicators daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Extensive knowledge of BI360 data warehouse and reporting software.
  • Responsible for formatting and loading of appropriate data into the BI360 data warehouse.
  • Responsible for report design and delivery as requested.
  • Provide data analytics in order to fulfill report and ad hoc data requests.
  • Work with other departments and users to design, create, and deliver fully functioning reports.
  • Understand and stay updated on the data dictionaries for all data sources.
  • Maintain knowledge of all external data sources available for use within our reporting metrics.
  • Verify daily that all data sources are being updated properly and provide support on identified issues.
  • Travel to centers as necessary to provide technical assistance and training to facilitate the efficiency and use of reporting tools and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality as it relates to HIPAA and uphold HIPAA regulations.
  • Honor resident’s rights when working in centers.  Attend meetings as requested.
  • Communicate with the Administrator and appropriate department mangers on the outcome of each center visit.
  • Promote and demonstrate a Service Excellence culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related field and 2+ years of related work experience or comparable work experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL. 
  • Database Administration: including management, performance, troubleshooting, integrity and security.
  • Database design, access, and backup and recovery.
  • Data analysis and analytics.
  • Developing automated and reusable routines for extracting information from database systems.
  • Reporting design and delivery.
  • Analyze data in order to fulfill report and ad hoc data requests.
  • Work with other departments and users to design, create, and deliver fully functioning reports.
  • Knowledge of BI360 data warehouse and reporting software.
  • Good conceptual, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.
  • A team player with positive attitude.
