Due to limits on gatherings on campus due to Covid, the student chapter of The Wildlife Society decided to get creative this fall, and invite speakers in a different way.

Much like many of our classes have moved to Zoom, so do our chapter meetings. However, to accommodate time limits of busy students and wildlife profressionals, we have trimmed speaking events to just 10-15 minutes apiece.

Over the course of the fall semester, officers from the student chapter contacted and interviewed a variety of wildlife-related professionals across the Commonwealth.

In sum, over a dozen interviews have been completed, with several more planned for the winter and spring.

The chapter is taking full advantage of social media outlets and posting interviews up to twice weekly on Facebook and Instagram.
