Mr. Terry Lovern

Terry Lovern received an MA in English and a BA in Philosophy & Religious Studies from Radford University. His MA thesis, Vigil Strange, was a collection of interconnected short stories set in the fictional town of Vigil. Mr. Lovern teaches rhetoric, composition, research writing, and American Literature. His interests include creative writing, popular culture, mythology, comic book studies, film studies, Gothic fiction, and horror fiction. He is one of the judges for the university’s annual Nan Lacy Poetry Contest as well. Mr. Lovern also serves as a faculty mentor to the department’s first-year graduate teaching assistants and second-year graduate teaching fellows.
