Anthony Cohen Follows the Paths of Slaves and Freedom Fighters

Historian and author Anthony Cohen embarked on several journeys retracing the steps of the Underground Railroad. He chronicles the long road to freedom traveled by African Americans from the U.S. to Canada in the late 1800s.

As part of Radford University’s Black History Month Celebration, Cohen will present “A Long Road to Freedom: A Virginia Journey on the Underground Railroad” on Tuesday, February 7 at 7 p.m. in the Bonnie Hurlburt Student Center Auditorium.
