Need a Gift for the Highlander on Your List This Holiday Season?

RADFORD -- If you’re shopping for the perfect gift for the Highlander in your life, consider two great books available from the university that are certain to bring holiday cheer.

Contributors to the “Radford University Centennial Cookbook” have cooked up more than 200 recipes ranging from the simple to the complex that will help anyone on your holiday list experience the flavor of Radford’s previous 100 years. The cost is $10 with all proceeds benefiting the RU Staff Senate Scholarship which is made available to dependents of faculty and staff who enroll at RU. “In Celebration of Teaching: Radford University Faculty Perspectives” is a collection of essays penned by 32 distinguished faculty members who share their individual insights, experiences and personal philosophies about teaching. The anthology was released in commemoration of Radford University’s Centennial Celebration. The Radford University Foundation assisted in the publication of the book, which is available for purchase in the Radford University Bookstore. For more information, call (540) 831-5144.
