Online Writing Lab
Tutors in the Center will not read entire drafts if they are more than 4 pages, but will read and respond to parts of the draft that the writer indicates. When you are requesting tutor assistance, keep in mind the hierarchy that the Writing Center suggests when responding to writing. If you are asking for editing assistance, tutors will help you by finding and pointing out the first one or two examples of an error that appears to be a particularly troublesome one for the writer. The tutor will then describe the error and how to correct it. If you have further questions about a grammar or punctuation concept, please don't hesitate to continue the conversation with the tutor either by email, phone (x 7704), or in the Center. We will try to respond within 2 business days (short questions regarding grammar, punctuation, and wording may be answered sooner). If you would rather have a face-to-face conference in the Writing Center with one of our tutors, make an appointment through email (larc@radford.edu) or phone 831-7704. To submit a question or text, click on the Online Submission Form.
Please call, email, or simply stop by to set up an appointment. Be sure to leave your name, RU ID#, and local phone number so we can process your request quickly. Phone: 831-7704 Email: larc@radford.edu |
