So all will anticipate the Second Coming, right? Peace. And thanks for all.

Best one yet.. I will miss this carton so much, it was the only thing I always look forward to in the Whim.

Have you ever considered marketing a Jesus Nightlight? You could do HappyJesus(tm) and AngryJesus(tm), and parents could scare the crap out of their kids with it.

"Beware the Vampire Jesus: he gave his blood for you, and he wants it all back, with interest, NOW!!!"
openin up a can ...

You little pricks!! I was ready to resign in protest. Why I oughta ..... Never, NEVER do people get me with AF jokes; I'm the one makin the jokes! Someone needs a good being pummelled. You had us all pissed at university officials and drafting letters of outrage and organizing pickets. I was even ready to offer you some space a friend has online to continue your fine work .... now, I think I may have to open up a can-o-whoop-ass! Good one .... little pricks Mr Monaghan

Best toon of them all! Too bad it was defined as a joke because you would be recieving so much praise for it.

TO LATE--The Jesus nightlight is already on the market, nothing is beyond serious people with bad taste.

ya know for a minute i really thought you were serious about resigning! I feel bad laughing at this one and i'm not laughing at the fact its an actual biblical drawing, its funny because you finaly drew what Blake and all the other whiners wanted you to. AND much like everyone said, its just not funny! keep up the awesome work man.

Is this funny? No, you're right, John. Is it art? Indeed. This is an incredible work of art. Kudos, CK!

I'm glad this crap is only a one time thing. If I wanted something not funny I would go to church and look at handouts. I want something FUNNY!! Next time, Keesee.... next time.
Cool but confusing

I was ready to get angry. I had to read the homepage of RUWhim again. Thennn, I got it. Kudos, fellows. Really cool. But really confusing. I'd venture to guess that the administration will be getting some unwarranted hate mail. I was definitley ready to send them a piece of my mind. Yayyy.
Hmm...

You know, it may sound strange but I'm offended by this.

How, Adam? Are you really offended or are you just being a smartass?

Ever notice that Jesus always has children, birds, and other woodland critters flocking to him like Snow White or some other Disney princess? Yeah, where are those?

Frankly, I'm insulted and so is Jesus, I'm sure.

Very nice drawing...but yeah, the others are definately better. But hey, why go back now? You've won Blake's approval, "CK"!

Last week's duck-billed platypus was definitely a metaphor for Blake right?
Sal...

I was thinking a reversible Jesus Nightlight...HappyJesus(tm) on one side, AngryJesus(tm) on the other side...possibly with a spring-loaded mechanism to rotate between the Jesuii, so that the kid never knows if he or she is going to wake up to the "Cute and Cuddly Jesus(tm)" or the "Really Pissed Off Jesus(tm)". you know, something to put a little bit of randomness into the little bugger's life...

Oh Kaleb, APRIL FOOL'S! haha

Damn, that felt good.

what you don't see in this picture is the two men having pre-marital gay sex on a hill and jesus' growing erection hidden by the flowing robes.

What ever happened to Gay Balls?

Good heavens, Ray, you want him back? We only recently got rid of that guy/girl.

We also apparently have recently gotten rid of Ken Ritz . . . but his disappearance coincides with Blake's sudden lack of participation on Christ on Campus threads. (Here is where we cue the return of Ken Ritz to make some sort of biting remark, followed by, or maybe even preceded by, Blake asserting he's NOT Ken Ritz).

This is disgusting. I know what Christian and Whim are trying to do and this is more offensive then some of the others. As for me and Blake, we are not the same person, we...are lovers. I'm sorry Blake but I have to let everyone know how I feel inside. I feel like there's a fire in my pants every time I see you. Your face and sweet sweet smell of young innocence makes me feel like a school boy again. If it were legal Blake, I would ask you to be my life partner.

"Last week's duck-billed platypus was definitely a metaphor for Blake right?" whatever anonymous reader wrote that... you should have attached your name to it... thats fucking hilarious.. get the recognition that you deserve!

Apparently even KRitz has his own trolls now. Sorry, dude, but the tone and position of the above poster is not the KRitz that has been posting here in the past (not to mention that I don't even know you nor would I be in a homosexual relationship). As for where Ritz is, I have no idea. There hasn't really been an offensive cartoon made since the Forum (with the exception of last week's but the offensiveness wasn't as extreme as earlier editions so it didn't garner as much attention) and as a result, discussion in these forums has seemed to go down.

As for me personally, I've pretty much said all that needs to be said about this series. Anyone else is welcome to drop their two cents in. I could come by here every week and say the same things over and over again but that would just be redundant. We all know how I stand, how Whim stands (especially regarding sensiblity issues), how various parts of the Christian community stands and how the University stands on censorship. There really isn't much more to go into.

Simply put, you either like it or you hate it. Judgement Day ultimately will let us know who is right about this.

Do you still not get that you are not arbiter of what is and is not offensive? Between offensive and funny, you seem to be on a parade of "Let me tell you what there is to be felt."

"I could come by here every week and say the same things over and over again but that would just be redundant."

And you realized this only now?:)

"We all know how I stand, how Whim stands (especially regarding sensiblity issues),..."

Yeah. Whim thinks the average person at RU is smart enough to say "This offends me. I think I will avoid reading it." You, on the other hand, seem to think that if something offends you, it shouldn't see the light of day.

Hey, Handsome...

"Right on, no more post from Blake... We are going to hold you to that."

Best of luck with it. Blake, for all the good he means to put in the world, seems a little inept when it comes to saying "I'm taking my ball and going home" and actually staying home.
