Grading Policy: There will be four exams, one cumulative final exam, and daily grade based upon quizzes and homework. The final grade in the course will be determined as follows:

Course prerequisites:
Math 104 or four credits of high school mathematics.
Attendance policy:
Class attendance is expected and strongly recommended. Attendance will be
taken every class meeting by passing an attendance sheet around for students to
sign. Keep in mind that your performance on tests could be affected by poor
class attendance. Make up exams and quizzes will be given only with the
instructor’s permission.
Course Objective:
The purpose of this course is to have
students explore a variety of topics in geometry. The major areas of geometry
which will be considered in this course are as follows:
1. Geometric constructions and relationships concerning triangles
2. Topology of networks, Eulerian graphs
3. Polyhedra, regular and otherwise
4. Motion geometry, isometries and similarities with analytic geometry
5. Symmetry, bounded and unbounded, planar and spacial with associated
group properties
6. Metric geometry, Pythagorean Theorem and area measure
