4) Use the sketch pad tools to drawwith a point M that does not lie on, and then construct a perpendicular line to through M

5) Use geometer’s sketch pad to construct the following diagram below where with transversal (Make sure you label all points as the are in this diagram)

a) Use the sketch pad tools under the measure menu to measure the following angles.

b) Using the results from part a, what comparisons can be made between the alternate interior angles, the alternate exterior angles, and the corresponding angles?

c) Are there any angle pairs that are supplementary?

6) Construct a convex Quadrilateral ABCD. Use the sketch pad tools to measure all four interior angles. After you have measured all of the interior angles, use the calculate option under the measure menu to show that the sum of the interior angles is 360º

7) Construct a convex Pentagon ABCDF. Use the sketch pad tools to measure all five interior angles. After you have measured all of the interior angles, use the calculate option under the measure menu to show that the sum of the interior angles is 540º. Finally, construct every possible diagonal. How many diagonal does the pentagon have?
