Campus Recreation

A component of the Hurlburt Student Center, Campus Recreation at Radford University takes great pride in providing a variety of programming for students, faculty, and staff of Radford University. The Campus Recreation staff works diligently to provide quality recreational opportunities for the Radford University community. As a result, all members of the RU community are invited to take advantage of the varied activities that are offered throughout the school year.

Campus Recreation strives to involve everyone
within the University community in at least one
area of recreational programs offered:

Aerobics
Intramurals
Sport Clubs
RU Outdoors (includes Equipment Rental & Trip Info)
Climbing Wall
Hurlburt Game Room

The philosophy of the program is to provide for the participants an opportunity to become involved in group and individual activities for social interaction, physical conditioning, and psychological development. Most of all, Campus Recreation is designed to emphasize challenge and fun. Hopefully the program will enrich the participants' lives during their stay at Radford University and will become a carry-over for constructive use of their leisure time in the future.
