Teens (Scenes from A history of violence)

 

 



The series of events begin during the end of gym class where Jack Stall played by Ashton Holmes, not an overly confident teenage boy is the outfield for the final inning.



Coming up to bat is Bobby Jordan played by Kyle Schmid an overly confident teenage boy that has a more aggressive of personality than Jack.



After hitting the ball Bobby is sure that he has hit the game winning home run to finish the game during gym class, but little does he know he is wrong.



When Jack's character catches Bobby's deep fly ball in the outfield for the last out of the game he ends up starting a new series of events between Bobby and himself.


Enraged that the ball he hit was caught by Jack, Bobby goes back into the locker room with a aggression and rage built up by his disappointment.



Back in he locker room as Jack is changing to his regular school close, Bobby comes over to start taunting Jack to instigate a fight.

Jack get's pushed around and because of his passive nature that had obtained while growing up by either being raised to be non violent by his parents he begins to comply and agree with all of Bobby's insults to aviod fighting



After more instigation by Bobby to get Jack to fight him does not succeed Bobby ends up leaving the locker room more furious that he didn't fight Jack.

 



Once Bobby leaves Jack sits back down in his locker after avioding a violent confrontation with his body in tact but with his spirit and confidence broken.
