Making an ODBC Connection From an Oracle Account
Authenticated by Windows 2000
Using the Oracle 8.1.6.0.0 ODBC Driver

If entering ODBC connection information at a dialogue box leave both the userid and password fields blank (i.e. do not use the forward slash that is required by SQLplus to indicate an OS account login).

If entering ODBC connection information directly into a .dsn file than remove both the UID and PWD lines.

Note:  For OLEDB connect strings the forward slash is used.
