Slices / Hotspots

On January 11th, we had a refresher in class on how to do layout slices and hotspots. In the examples below, you can see how I have used these techniques in client projects.

Below, I have utilized four hotspots. In the photo I had shot with the band, I wanted to make it where you can click on a band member to see their biography. To do this, I drew my hot spot rectangles over the corresponding band member, pointing the links to their biography pages.

The website also utilizes slices to improve image loading time for the website.
